Day Twenty-Four
DAY TWENTY-THREE
MORNING VERSE:
“‘I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.’ Where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer any offering for sin.” (Hebrews 10:17-18)
EVENING VERSE:
“Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh…” (Hebrews 10:19-20)
MEDITATION
Do you remember your sins? Does the Devil remind you why God shouldn’t love you? Do family members like to bring up your past failures and mistakes? Though this may be true, let these words sink into your heart. God does not remember your sins or your lawless deeds! Because Christ has accounted for each and every one of them with his cross, the Father is satisfied. He is both just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus! To remember your sin is to forget the cross. Don’t live another day in the shadow of your past. You are not obligated to pay for what you did in the past, Christ has done that. If some part of your past still haunts you, let God’s forgetfulness become your own.
