DAY TWENTY-ONE

MORNING VERSE:

“Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.” (Hebrews 9:22)

EVENING VERSE:

“But as it is, he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.” (Hebrews 9:26)

MEDITATION

Do you think of yourself as pure? Do you look at yourself in the mirror and smile at the vessel of honor that you have become? Everything is purified with blood. Have you ever wondered how the Holy Spirit is able to dwell in your mortal body and yet you are not consumed? What purity his blood must have wrought in your life for this to be true! Beloved, if you have taken your eyes of of his blood, if you have been blinded to its power, turn again to the precious cleansing power of Jesus’ blood. Bring your blemishes before him, your weakness and your shame. Let his blood wash over you fresh and new today. Adore him. Worship him. Draw near to him.
