DAY SEVEN

MORNING VERSE:

“For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.” (2 Corinthians 4:11)

EVENING VERSE:

“For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died…” (2 Corinthians 5:14)

MEDITATION

What would your life look like controlled by the love of Christ? You may remember being controlled by anger or lust or some other thing. But the invitation today is for you to be controlled by the love of Christ! But how? You must make a conclusion. You must close the case. There is no room for being double minded on this matter. What conclusion must you make? That One has died for all, therefore all have died. You no longer relate to people based on their !esh, their sin or their selfishness. Because Jesus has died for you (and them) you have once and for all changed your mind about humanity. You will live in love because Christ died in love. It was the joy set before him that enabled him to endure the cross. You were and still are his joy!
