DAY SIX
MORNING VERSE:
“For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with him.” (1 Thessalonians 5:9-10)
EVENING VERSE:
“...always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies.” (2 Corinthians 4:10)
MEDITATION
In the kingdom, life comes through death. Do not be dismayed or discouraged by the painful trials in your life. Don’t waste a good trial! To fellowship with Christ in his suffering is a great privilege and is intended to bring life to you. To convert a trial into a blessing is a matter of perspective. You can complain and bemoan the trial, or you can enter into it and entrust yourself to the Father. Trials will cause you to either question the love of God or fall into it. It is easy to get confused in suffering when you lose sight of the cross. You start questioning the love of God, does he really care about you? Beloved, don’t be deceived. He loves you so much! Don’t lose faith and don’t lose heart. Remember the Son.
