May 28, 2019

In this Podcast, Peter walks us through Romans 7 and highlights how the believer has been set free from the Law and now have been brought into grace. Peter then ends with how we can now as believers identify with our new man which is in Christ Jesus.

We hope that this encourages you as you listen!

Law vs. Grace

May 1, 2019

For the law brings wrath, but where there is no law there is no transgression. Romans 4:15

God no longer has an external demand on His people because He has now written His law on the believer’s heart. It’s now in our will and desire to walk righteously. The grace of God is the only environment that will empower the righteousness of God. Jesus Christ in us as believers will confine us to good behavior more than the Law ever could. It's only by faith that rests on His grace that we will see the manifestation of righteousness in our lives.

In this podcast, Peter teaches on Law vs Grace and how understanding the two pertain to how we walk righteously as believers.

Sprinkler System Sanctification

April 9, 2019

“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23.

In this podcast, Peter reads through Exodus to find a powerful illustration of how the process of salvation looks different from the process of our sanctification (renewing of mind, will, emotions).
Finally, Peter returns to the new testament to express that the process of our sanctification is something produced in rest, relying on the work of the Lord to change our hearts, renew our desires, and bring us closer into intimacy with Him.

How to Eat Like a Christian

April 2, 2019

“I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give for the life of the world is My Flesh” John 6:51. We see that the flesh of Jesus was given for the life of the world. There is a meal for us that is connected to the Cross of Jesus Christ to partake of that leads to our sanctification. As we look at the work of Jesus on the Cross we will see that is how we partake of His flesh and blood. The cross is a meal that is meant to sustain us every single day of our Christians lives.

In this podcast, Peter explains how we engage with the flesh and blood of Jesus and it pertains to our sanctification in Christ.

Consequences Part 2

February 19, 2019

“Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loincloths” (Genesis 3:7). The eyes of Adam and Eve were opened to their own nakedness which led to shame and caused them to shrink back from the presence of God. The knowledge of good and evil ruined the way that Adam and Eve viewed themselves and God.

In this podcast, Peter explains how through Jesus and His works we can now walk with a clear conscience before God which Adam and Eve first had before their eyes were opened to the knowledge of good and evil.

Consequences

February 19, 2019

“But from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die” (Genesis 2:17). We see that God says that both Adam and Eve would surely die the day that they ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. What died that day? Their spirits had died. It took 900 yrs for death to fully work its way in them. The eyes of Adam and Eve were opened to their own nakedness which caused them to hide from God.

In this podcast, Peter talks about the consequences that took place after the fall to show us what we have been restored back into through Jesus in hopes that our conscious would be clear of the guilt and shame that keeps so many of us bound.
